Hot Forging

Hot Forging – Mass Production Technology for Large Forged Products

As the name suggests, hot forging is the processing technology in which the materials are heated to over 1150℃ for shaping. This processing technology is usually applied on the forged products that have large variations in shape, such as transmission shaft for front wheels (C.V. JOINT), tripod, gear box, engine crankshaft, and other large forged products.
To hot forge, the materials are softened in the shaping process; thus, there is no limit to the variation of shapes that can be produced.
